We're officially in the home stretch for 2025! I've got a lot of exciting stuff happening in the next couple of months that I'm excited to tell you about. Repeal Day Party One of my favorite parties of the year is always the Annual Repeal Day Celebration where we toast the passing of the 21st Amendment and the end of Prohibition in the US on December 5! New York After hours (NYC Nightclub History)
The history of NYC's "golden age" of night clubs from the 1920s through the 1940s. The series not only tells the story of specific clubs, but moves chronologically from the mid 1800s through the 1950s, examining political and social movements, the development of various forms of music, theater, dance, fashion and entertainment, the effects of the world wars, prohibition, the depression, immigration and new technologies, all told through the lens of their effect on nightlife.
