Biography
Glenn Crytzer is a New York City-based bandleader, guitarist, songwriter, arranger, banjoist, and vocalist, celebrated for bringing the Jazz Age and Swing Era to life with unparalleled authenticity.

Glenn’s orchestra and combos have appeared at venues across NYC including Lincoln Center, the Rainbow Room, the USS Intrepid, Symphony Space, the Django, The Plaza, Winnie's Jazz Bar, Rosevale, NY Distilling, and many more. Crytzer’s original music and covers of classics are in demand for TV and Film with more than 100 placements in productions for Disney, Marvel, Hulu, Netflix, WB, and numerous others. In 2017 the Glenn Crytzer Orchestra was honored with the award for Best Group in New York by the NYC Jazz Awards.

Glenn began his first weekly NYC residency in 2014 at the legendary Pegu Club, after having performed at the owner's wedding. During his time at Pegu Club, Glenn developed a love for craft cocktails and fine dining, a basic knowledge of restaurant operations and marketing (which he expanded on with a Certificate in Food and Beverage Management from Cornell University), and an audience of fans who are passionate about good music, cocktails, and restaurants. He went on to create additional residencies at the Flatiron Lounge, Kola House, the Montauk Club, Honeybee's, Blacktail, The Marriot Marquis, the Palm Court, and others.
Glenn has distilled his experiences into a system for presenting and marketing regular music nights in bars and restaurants which grows the establishment's brand awareness and builds a community of regular, repeat customers who attend year-round.

In the coming year, Glenn will begin releasing the Songbook Sessions - a series of 250 live recordings made by The Glenn Crytzer Quartet.Crytzer and his quartet are currently in residence Thursday evenings at Festival Café (1155 2nd Ave. Manhattan) and Saturdays for brunch at Peck Slip Social (36 Peck Slip, Manhattan).
