New York After hours (NYC Nightclub History)

Hi Friends,

During the Covid Pandemic I did extensive research on the history of NYC's "golden age" of night clubs from the 1920s through the 1940s. I produced over 30 long form videos on the topic for my Patreon page. I'm now making those available on my website!

The series not only tells the story of specific clubs, but moves chronologically from the mid 1800s through the 1950s, examining political and social movements, the development of various forms of music, theater, dance, fashion and entertainment, the effects of the world wars, prohibition, the depression, immigration and new technologies, all told through the lens of their effect on nightlife.
