His has been a featured act at Midwest Lindy Fest, the Seattle Lindy Exchange, the American Lindy Hop Championships, Beantown Lindy Hop Camp, Balboa Rendezvous, Lindy Focus, and Camp Jitterbug among others, and was notably the winner of the 2011 Washington DCLX Battle of the Big Bands against Jonathan Stout. Glenn led the house band for two years at Seattle's iconic Century Ballroom, and in NYC, Glenn has produced popular residencies with his big band and small groups at venues including Pegu Club, Kola House, The Secret Room, and the Montauk Club, all popular destinations for dancers.
Beyond the dance floor, Glenn Crytzer's ensembles have set the perfect atmosphere for the vintage scene's most anticipated gatherings, including the massively successful Easter Event at The Plaza Hotel which drew a line around the block onto 59th Street, performances on the Intrepid in the Battle of the Big Bands, multiple appearances at the Rainbow Room, and the organization of "Gatsby in the Park" which brought the scene together outdoors for music and community during Covid shutdowns. His groups are also a highlight of The Repeal Society's annual Repeal Day celebration every December.
