Who We Are

IMG_3914.jpg

Since I started the Glenn Crytzer Orchestra in 2008, I'm proud to say that we've become recognized by music lovers from around the world as the premiere ensemble specializing in music from the Swing Era.

Each musician in the GCO is a world-class artist in his or her own right; they've toured the world and recorded with various groups including the Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra, Leon Redbone, US Armed Forces Service Bands, the Artie Shaw Orchestra, the Clark Terry Orchestra,  and many others that I haven't the space to list! I've personally selected every musician in the group because he or she is not only a great performer, but because each individual is deeply passionate about classic jazz. The musicians in the group have spent years studying jazz from the 1920s, 1930s, and 1940s and are the foremost experts on this style of music.

When you book the GCO, you're not just getting a band of freelancers who is playing at your wedding to collect a check, you're getting a group of dedicated artists who want to share music that they're passionate about with you and your guests. As one of our clients put it "These guys are the real deal."

What We Do

GC_RR_2015_11.jpg

How many weddings have you been to where a DJ played the same old MP3s that everyone has heard at every wedding, class reunion, middle school dance, company holiday party, and bar mitzvah for the last 20 years? Can you even remember them all? Your wedding deserves to stand out!

The Glenn Crytzer Orchestra can make your reception an affair to remember. When your guests step onto the dance floor to the sounds of our live 16 piece orchestra they'll feel like they are at the wedding of a prince and princess. Classics like Sing Sing Sing, In The Mood, and Begin the Beguine will get everyone up to party while soft ballads like Mood Indigo, I'm Getting Sentimental Over You, and Moonlight Serenade will have couples swaying the night away in each others' arms.

Your love is meant to last the test of time, celebrate it with timeless music!
