Café Metronome will be NYC's first major venue dedicated to presenting and preserving the music, dance, and history of the Jazz Age and Swing Era. Its glamorous 272-seat Art Deco location near Times Square will be the home of a full-time, salaried 26-piece orchestra comprising some of the world's top specialists in this era of music under the direction of co-founder Glenn Crytzer, and will feature gourmet dining from 7x James Beard nominated chef, co-founder Tyler Anderson.

The main performance each evening will be a Broadway-sized musical revue featuring the orchestra, an 8 dancer chorus line, an MC, and 4 new guest artists each week from Broadway, Cabaret, Jazz, Dance, Acrobatics, and more! After the performance the orchestra will return to play a set for listening and social dancing. Café Metronome will also offer performances with a smaller band and fewer performers than the full-scale revue at a lower price for pre-theater and post-theater dining, as well as brunches and special midnight shows on Friday and Saturday. The music and performers will constantly change, so there'll always be something new to see, but it will always be authentic to the 1920s, 1930s, and 1940s!

Ticket prices as of now start at $10 for the cheapest seats to some of the smaller shows up to $150 for VIP seats. Ticket prices will flex upward for bigger name guest acts. We estimate the menu will be rated $$$ (out of $$$$) by the NY Times; so a reasonably priced nice dinner.

Funds will be held in a special account and purchase shall be refunded in the event we should, tragically, fail to open.* From the point where we're capitalized, it will take around 12 months to build the space into a gorgeous Art Deco wonderland and open our doors to the public.

Not only will Café Metronome employ hundreds of performing artists and create the first full-time salaried orchestra dedicated to the music of the Jazz Age and Swing Era, we'll be shining a huge media spotlight on vintage music, dance, and fashion which will reverberate worldwide, growing the fanbase and opening up opportunities for vintage artists and businesses everywhere.
