"[Glenn's band] played at our elegant rooftop party in Manhattan and provided the perfect music. During cocktail hour, dinner & post dessert they set a beautiful tone, and the party ended with everyone on their feet dancing. I HIGHLY recommend this band!"

"I hired the Glenn Crytzer Orchestra for the biggest social event of the decade at our Club – the celebration of our 90th anniversary. The party was a Roaring 20’s themed party, and the Glenn Crytzer Orchestra couldn’t have been better. Glenn is the consummate professional – a delight to work with, and a musician/bandleader beyond compare. All the guests raved about the performance and choice of music. The Glenn Crytzer Band is the “real deal.” We couldn’t have been more pleased!

"Glenn's music fit in wonderfully with the ambiance of the party. [The Band] arrived on time and Glenn was very easy to work with and coordinate. We even did a Charleston lesson at the dinner and the band helped coordinate the music. I’d definitely recommend them!"

1920s Dance Band
F. Scott Fitzgerald's description of the parties thrown by Jay Gatsby inspired the Jazz Age. The music at Gatsby's parties was provided by dance bands that performed intricate, exciting arrangements of the latest fashion in music: Jazz. The GCO dance band performs the actual arrangements used in the 1920s, just like you'd have heard at one of those infamous West Egg soirées.
Available with singers or instrumental. The GCO offers concert style performances or "dinner and dancing" style performances.
30s & 40s Big Band
Travel through time to an era when the sounds of hot trumpet and mellow saxophone could be heard wafting from the doors of all of New York's most elegant ballrooms and supper clubs. The GCO can take you there with the sounds of Benny Goodman, Artie Shaw, Bing Crosby, Ella Fitzgerald Glenn Miller, Duke Ellington, Harry James, Guy Lombardo, Count Basie, and many more!
Available with singers or instrumental. The GCO offers concert style performances or "dinner and dancing" style performances.
Floor/Stage Show
A performance from the GCO can be augmented to create a full 1920s, 1930s, or 1940s style stage show or floor show that will absolutely WOW your guests! The show comes complete with any combination of flying Lindy Hoppers, Chorus Girls, Burlesque Performers, Tappers and more! We work only with NYC's top vintage talent and can book the full show based on your specifications. We can also book other talent such as vintage bartenders, videographers, mentalists, cigarette girls, photographers, and actors/ dancers to work the crowd, keep the dance floor moving, or teach a dance lesson to your group!
Jazz Combos
If you're hosting a cocktail party where you'd like light background music, or a small party where space is limited, the GCO offers small combos ranging from 3 up to 8 musicians. Combos are comprised of members of the full orchestra, so the instrumentation of these groups is flexible. Small groups can perform with a singer or instrumental and can perform with or without drums. Our small groups cover music from the 20s, 30s, and 40s, including "American Songbook" classics, tin pan alley songs, swing, and New Orleans Jazz.
